How's the hatch?

Recently, we floated the Red Deer R and were having a go at a nice brown trout. Few fish were seen for the first 1/3 of the trip but things were looking up, promising better imminently as the clouods rolled in. Sure enough, as if hitting the Staples "That was easy" button, the drakes were everywhere.
A good day and evening, for sure. Find a few bugs, find a few fish. :)

Last time i was fishing the old Deer i was amazed at the insect activity needless to say i had to pay homage to the fish gods and poped a brown drake in my mouth and i gotta tell ya they taste far better then a salmonfly ;)! to bad for me the fish gods accepted my offering and blessed me with a day full of rising goldeye much to the dismay of my collection of flys that got torn to shreds :P
